Default pick: West Brom

The rules are:

1) Cost of entry is €10. You can enter as many teams as you like.
2) You can transfer the money into the club account if you have the details or if you wish you can pay online here. If you transfer it into the account, please label the transfer e.g. “Joe Blogs LMS” and email lms@dcusoccer.ie to say you’re registering and that you’ve paid.
3) The closing date for entry is 12PM (before the first kick off) on Saturday 3rd March 2012.
4) You pick one team to win each week and once you pick them, you can’t pick that team again.
5) You must email your team pick for each gameweek to lms@dcusoccer.ie before the deadline. Include your name and your pick in the email.
6) The deadline for each gameweek will be 1 hour before the kick off of the first game of the gameweek. This will be posted here on lms.dcusoccer.ie
7 ) If your team wins, you proceed to the next round of matches. If your team loses or draws, then you’re out.
8 ) Should you fail to enter a prediction you will be given a default choice for the week which will be chosen in reverse alphabetical order. (e.g. Week 1 is Wolves).
9) If you have already picked the default team, you get the next team in the alphabet (e.g. If you already picked Wolves, you will get Wigan)
10) The last man standing will be the winner.
11) In the event of a tie after 11 weeks, remaining entrants will be asked to choose their remaining 9 teams in their order of preference for week 12. The entrant with the highest winning preference is delcared the winner. If several entrants have the same winning preference, we move to the next highest winning preference until we have a winner.
(Scenario: 4 teams left, all 4 list their preferences. Each have Arsenal as number 1 and they win. We go to the second preference, 2 have Chelsea who lost so they are out. 1 has Wigan who won and 1 has Newcastle who lost. The player who chose Wigan is deemed the winner).

12) 50% of all money collected will go to the club. The prize fund will be the remainder of the money collected minus any charges that the club has incurred for the event.
